By splintering from the Police, you were meant to be cleaner, and smarter, and much quicker on your feet. Is it politics that overcame you guys?

BREAKING: Buhari Returns After UK Medical Check-Up

Spread the love (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja from the United Kingdom (UK) 16 days after he left for a medical check-up. The President left Nigeria on Tuesday, March 30 briefly after a security meeting with defense and intelligence chiefs, as well as other security sector managers. The President’s aircraft touched on ground at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja around 4:45pm. He is expected to resume official duties on Friday. Those at the airport to welcome the president included the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambar; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammed Bello, and the National Security Adviser to the President, retired Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno.

The President, who fielded questions from journalists as he returned from his routine medical check-up in the United Kingdom said that Nigerians have high expectations from the new police boss. President Buhari also said that the new Service Chiefs were doing their best to contend the security situation in the country. Asked how he felt after the medical checkup in London, he simply said, “Yes, it went very well, after your well wishes.” On what Nigerians should expect from his administration going forward after the rest in London, the President said, “Continuity.”
