To help combat military families struggle over loneliness, discouragement and isolation, American Bible Society launched a program that would help bring hope to them in the holidays. As reported by The Christian Post, military families struggle with loneliness and isolation due to being apart this year. Lisa, a homeschooling mother of four and a chaplain s wife told the Christian Post that military life is hard and that people like them often feel very alone.

The American Bible Society s Armed Services Ministry is sending out Hero Squad boxes to children whose parents are serving in the military to bring hope and encouragement during the holidays. | American Bible Society Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many people are struggling with discouragement, loneliness, and isolation, especially during the holiday season.  But for military families, this is especially true. Due to soldiers deployment, many military families will be spending the holidays apart this year.
