Tech Travels to Purdue for B1G/ACC Challenge
THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s basketball will head to Purdue for the 2021 Big Ten/ACC Challenge, facing the Boilermakers on Wednesday, Dec. 1. The ACC, in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, announced the full lineup of matchups for the 14th annual Challenge on Tuesday.
A total of 14 challenge games will be played over a two-day period, Dec. 1-2. Game times, as well as television and streaming video coverage, will be announced at a later date. All Big Ten home games will appear on either Big Ten Network, Big Ten Network+ or one of the ESPN networks, while all ACC home games will be shown on either the ACC Network, ACC Network Extra or one of the ESPN networks. The ACC owns a 9-1-3 all-time advantage and 94-70 overall win-loss record in the Challenge.

STORRS, CT The University of Connecticut women s basketball team will travel to Atlanta on Dec. 9, to face Georgia Tech in McCamish Pavilion, UConn head coach Geno Auriemma said this week.
The game will serve as a homecoming for senior Olivia Nelson-Ododa, who is a native of Winder, Ga.
UConn is 2-0 all-time against Georgia Tech. The teams last met on Nov. 21, 2010. The Yellow Jackets are UConn s third confirmed ACC opponent next season as the Huskies will also face Notre Dame and Louisville.

MADISON, WI (WSAU) â Organizers of the annual Big Ten-ACC Menâs Basketball Challenge have announced the pairings for this yearâs event.
The Wisconsin Badgers will take on Georgia Tech at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta in what will be a matchup of two NCAA tournament teams from 2021.
As of now the game is slated to take place on December 1st. Tip-off will be set at a later date.
Wisconsin was the 9 seed in the Midwest Region and defeated North Carolina before falling to Baylor, who went on to win the national title. The Yellowjackets were also a #9 seed but fell in the first round to Loyola-Chicago.

ATLANTA Congratulations to Atlanta Public Schools Class of 2021! This year, students are returning to the main stage as graduation ceremonies are taking place in-person at Bobby Dodd Stadium on the Georgia Tech campus.
Outdoor graduation ceremonies will be held for 12 APS high schools at the stadium from May 24-27.
District spokesman Seth Coleman tells 11Alive
that masks are required for the ceremony, hand sanitizer will be readily available, and attendees will be urged to follow social distancing protocols.
