Coxons Group is set to acquire MRC Australia – formerly Mackay Radiators and Coolers – bringing together two big names in heavy industry cooling systems. Coxons Group managing director Joel Heazlewood said it would be business as usual for both outfits. MRC Australia will keep its name and Mr Heazlewood assured there would be no job losses during the transition. Coxons also has job opportunities available for trade assistants, boilermakers, diesel fitters and office staff. Mr Heazlewood said the move represented a win for local employees and the customers they support, with the increased reach and opportunity of the newly expanded company to ensure stability and growth.
