WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) â A new way of treating invasive species at local parks has come to Wausau.
Wednesday morning a trailer of goats arrived in Wausau from Portage County. The goats have been hired by the Wausau & Marathon County Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department to help clear invasive species on Barker Stewart Island like buckthorn and honeysuckle.
