A pair of Melfort parks were victims of vandalism over the weekend. One incident was at Spruce Haven Park where the east outer wall of the new washroom building was spray painted. Meanwhile at Rotary Park, the Co-op Community Memorial Bench was broken right off of its cement pad that it is bolted to. City of Melfort facility manager Leonard Whitney said it’s disappointing to see this happen at their parks. “Our parks are there for everyone to enjoy,” he said. “And it’s never a good thing when any of our facilities are damaged.” The City of Melfort is asking for the public’s assistance for information regarding these two events of vandalism over…
