Eli Lilly: Myles O Neill And Melissa Barnes To Retire INDIANAPOLIS (dpa-AFX) - Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) said Myles O Neill, senior vice president and president of Lilly manufacturing operations, will retire May 2, 2021. The company announced that Edgardo Hernandez, who currently serves as senior vice president, global parental drug product and device manufacturing, will succeed O Neill as senior vice president and president of Lilly manufacturing operations. Also, Melissa Barnes, senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer, will retire June 27, 2021. Alonzo Weems, presently vice president and deputy general counsel, will succeed Barnes as senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer.

Myles O’Neill, senior vice president and president of Lilly’s manufacturing operations, will retire in early May, after nearly two decades with the company, Lilly said. O’Neill, 62, will be replaced by Edgardo Hernandez, who is currently senior vice president of the drugmaker’s global injectible drug product and device manufacturing division.

From staff reports STEUBENVILLE Melissa Barnes, the Steubenville mother whose severely malnourished and dehydrated 2-year-old son was found dead in his crib in August, has been ruled incompetent to stand trial, at least for now. Barnes, 35, and her live-in boyfriend, Kayin A. Franklin, 28, were indicted separately on felony chargers of murder, involuntary manslaughter and two counts of child endangerment in connection with the Aug. 14 death of Barnes’ son, Aiden Oxley. Aiden Oxley’s body was discovered face down in his crib. Officers at the scene had said in court documents the boy was naked and his crib was covered in what appeared to be dried feces. The temperature in the room that day reached around 97 degrees, police had said.
