Shocking closed camera circuit TV footage purportedly of an alleged shooting incident involving a man and his now deceased son has been circulating on social media.
The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Ruel Knight.
As of 4pm, detectives had not yet charged the suspect, said to be his father, with the shooting incident that occurred at his place of business in Papine, St Andrew on Monday.
In the footage, two men appear to be engaged in a heated argument before one of the men falls to the ground and the other kicks the motionless body.

Sources on the ground revealed that an argument developed at the establishment during which the business owner was reportedly being verbally and physically abusive towards staff members, causing his son to intervene. He was allegedly abusing someone with a crate, and the son intervened and said, Daddy, you re having a bad day? The man went into his office, returned with a gun, walked up to his son, kicked him in his chest and then shot him, a source related.
The man was detained at the Papine Police Station before being transferred to the Half-Way Tree Police Station for questioning.

Police believe robbery was the motive in the abduction and murder of school teacher Natalie Dawkins, whose body was found dumped in a shallow grave in Clarendon on Thursday.
According to the lawmen, three suspects have been identified in connection to the killing, one of whom was apprehended in an operation on Thursday evening.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey, made the disclosure on Friday. He said the latest suspect was questioned and from that session vital information regarding the case was gathered including the motive of robbery for the murder of the teacher.

The deceased man has since been identified as 20-year-old Jeff Bedward, alias Water Lord of Bellas Gate, St Catherine, and Chatteau and Sandy Bay districts in Clarendon.
