Soul Barbers and Grooming has put forward plans to open in the Worcester s Arches off Farrier Street joining an ever-growing list of businesses moving in to be part of the multi-million-pound project. The barbers would come equipped with six chairs and a treatment room with the proposed opening hours set at 8.30am to 7.30pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 5pm on Saturdays.
A NEW deli and sandwich shop could soon be the latest addition to the city’s historic arches. The new sandwich shop, which would be run by Sangers, would open in one of the city’s arches in Netherton Court off Infirmary Walk according to an application submitted to Worcester City Council. The deli would seat 32 people. The proposed opening times are 9am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 9pm on Sundays. Two full-time and two part-time jobs would be created, the application said. The multi-million-pound plan to revitalise the historic Victorian railway arches was formally put forward at the start of the year.
