When former Washington Husky receiver Jaydon Mickens settles under a soaring kickoff or a towering punt in Super Bowl LV, his journey to Tampa might seem improbable to some who know him.
But this is exactly how the diminutive Mickens planned it.
OK, maybe not planned, but how he dreamed it.
On Sunday, he ll play in the biggest game of his life as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In Tampa. I ve always felt that I could play football at the highest level, he said.
At times in his life, even with everything seemingly stacked against him, Mickens never doubted that he would wind up on a big stage.

Jim Modig, KU’s previous university architect, explained that it’s a path of accessibility to help people move vertically on a hilly part of the campus. A person in a wheelchair, for instance, could enter Learned Hall at the ground level, take an elevator to the fourth floor, cross the bridge to the Earth, Energy and Environment Center and exit that building on the same level as Jayhawk Boulevard.
Browns have Conklin, Chiefs without Edwards-Helaire

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is inactive for the Kansas City Chiefs for their divisional playoff game against the Cleveland Browns, taking one dynamic playmaker away from Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champions.
Edwards-Helaire returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since sustaining a high-ankle sprain in Week 15 against New Orleans. But the dynamic first-round pick, who piled up 1,100 yards from scrimmage in just 13 games this season, did not work out on Thursday or Friday and was listed as questionable on the final injury report.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are ready for their playoff matchup against the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field. The final step in setting their roster for the game is the announcement of the inactive list. After elevating tight end Kevin Rader from the practice squad on Saturday, the inactive list is made up of six players. With no players with an injury status for the game, the Steelers list is comprised completely of healthy scratches.

Having won five out of six since the bye week, with the only loss coming in a shootout against the Ravens, the Browns are almost certainly heading to the postseason for the first time in 18 years. Will they be looking past a Jets team that just figured out how to win again, though?

Having regressed last year, Baker Mayfield began the 2020 season with a rough outing against the Ravens. Since then, he’s been excellent though. While he may not end up with as many yards and touchdowns as he had in his rookie year, Mayfield has dramatically improved his turnover rate with just eight interceptions after racking up 35 over his first two years.
