Changes Are Coming to Downtown Boise Parking

Changes Are Coming to Downtown Boise Parking Changes are coming to downtown Boise parking and at this point, aren t we all just used to hearing about change in general? While the changes may be loved by some and hated by others, one thing is clear: they are being made because business and social lives are simply opening up again and after a year of well, whatever the last 12-months have been we re all thankful for that. So, here s what you can expect downtown Boise.  All of the parking spots that you have gotten used to seeing as pick up only for various surrounding restaurants will slowly begin to go away. You can look at this a few different ways.

Boise Open Announces Multi-Night Concert Series

Boise Open Announces Multi-Night Concert Series Well if there is one thing that Boise residents love just as much if not more than dogs and locally brewed beer, it may actually be golf. The Treasure Valley and the entire State of Idaho, really, has some of the greatest golf courses in the western United States. If only I could play golf. People here in the Treasure Valley are already talking about the Boise Open: Yeah it s absolutely correct. The Boise Open, which is in it s 32nd year at Hillcrest Country Club, has announced that it is going to return and this time, will include a THREE NIGHT CONCERT SERIES. I m yelling that because wow announcing concerts never gets old after a year of absolutely no live events.

Amazon s Treasure Truck Unveiled in Boise

Have you ever signed up for something a prize, an update, a newsletter and TOTALLY forgotten about it? We ve all been there. Days, weeks, or months later you get something in the mail or in your inbox and you have to think where THIS came from. I had one of those moments this week and honestly, I m a little excited about the email that hit my inbox. Amazon addicts or deal lovers rejoice apparently, the Amazon Treasure Truck is now active in the Treasure Valley. I remember seeing this concept a VERY long time ago and signing up to learn when it was going to be in our area. After receiving an email earlier this week from Amazon, it appears that the truck, or at least the concept, is now here in Boise.

Meridian s Varsity Pub Announces Closing Weekend

Over the past year, a lot has changed. Habits have changed, events have been canceled, streets and venues known for crowds and noise have gone quiet. Literally NOTHING has been the same over the past 12-months and we re all ready to get some sense of normalcy back. With vaccines rolling out and more and more light appearing at the end of this tunnel, I think it is fair to say that EVERYONE is hoping to get back into their favorite bars, restaurants, venues. Meridian s popular Varsity Pub is one of those places. For a very long time, 103.5 KISS FM spent every Thursday at Varsity Pub in Meridian and as things have re-opened, we ve looked forward to going back out there once the dance floor was open again to enjoy our time in one of our favorite bars. According to a recent Facebook post, our days of having Varsity Pub, located upstairs above Lucky Fins, are numbered.

Tamarack Resort Announces Elopement Ceremonies

Tamarack Resort Announces Elopement Ceremonies Throw a global pandemic into the mix of things like the year 2020 did and you re bound to see a whole lot of change.  No gatherings, minimal family time, no concerts and you may as well cancel any sort of plans that you had in place for the year no need for those. For many this meant canceled vacations or postponed trips. For many others, however, this meant figuring out what to do with major life milestones like weddings. A lot goes into a wedding effort, travel for guests, money, TIME a whole lot of those things are impacted significantly by a pandemic. I know several friends who had to postpone or completely change their wedding plans due to the Coronavirus. What is a couple to do?
