Mr Hill, 74, and Ms Clay, 73, have not been seen since they embarked on a camping trip to Wonnangatta Valley, about 250 kilometres north-east of Melbourne, on March 19 last year. Mr Hill owned a DJI Mavic drone that police said he took with him on the camping trip and had not been recovered. Police are examining whether the drone handed to police was owned by Mr Hill. Loading “Missing persons squad detectives have received an item that was handed in to police over the weekend,” a police spokeswoman said. “The item is being reviewed to determine if it has any relevance to the investigation.
