ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Inter-Provincial Education Ministers conference will be held today (Monday) to decide reopening of educational institutions in the country. The final decision on whether educational institutions should be reopened or vacations extended will be taken in the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers conference which will be presided over by Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood. The meeting will be attended by the education ministers of the four provinces, Gilgit and Azad Kashmir. The meeting is also expected to take a final decision on the examinations while summer vacations at educational institutions will also be decided in today’s meeting.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood will chair a meeting of education ministers today via video link to review the COVID-19 situation and finalise the exam schedule. The Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) will be attended by all the education ministers, including the Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan ministers. The IPEMC is mandated to formulate policies related to the education sector in the country. The meeting will review the latest COVID-19 situation in the country and decide about the reopening of educational institutes, exam schedule and summer vacations.
