One of Lancashire s most wanted men hands himself in to police A man who was wanted by police for failing to appear in court on a theft charge has handed himself in. Robert Towers, 39, from Bamber Bridge, came forward to police following an appeal, and was due to appear before Preston Magistrates Court on Thursday. A spokesperson for the police said: He is the second victory in South Division as part of Operation Hunter, which targets some of the county s most wanted offenders trying to evade justice. This comes after Adam Bhamji, who has been wanted on recall to prison since last year, was arrested on Saturday on the M5 motorway.
