A longtime area resident has asked Georgian Bluffs council to consider constructing a new community hall instead of upgrading the former arena in Kemble.
Keith Davidson appeared before the Georgian Bluffs committee of the whole meeting on Wednesday, where he suggested that recently announced federal, provincial and municipal funding would be better spent on a new building instead of upgrading the community centre.
