ASEAN Chairman’s statement: The ASEAN-United Kingdom (UK) Open-Ended Troika Meeting was held on 8 April 2021 via videoconference to discuss the critical situation on the COVID-19 pandemic, initiatives to build a resilient and sustainable economic recovery, and efforts to address the adverse impact of climate change. Philippines gets share in £19-M UK Prosperity Fund, says DOF

By TED CORDERO, GMA News Published March 16, 2021 1:36pm The Philippines will be getting a share in the United Kingdom’s Cross-Government Prosperity Fund, which will be an “invaluable tool” that would help the country post a strong recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Finance (DOF) said Tuesday. In a statement, the DOF said Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, on behalf of the Philippine government, and British Ambassador Daniel Pruce, on behalf of the UK government, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on March 15 for the Philippines’ participation in the UK Cross-Government Prosperity Fund for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Economic Reform Programme and the ASEAN Low Carbon Energy Programme.
