According to
Fox 13 Memphis TV News, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) interviewed Yo Gotti’s CMG artist and the other suspects over two days after one person was wounded on the Interstate 55 highway. The suspects in four police-tracked vehicles were apprehended during a stop on Highway 6 in Batesville after the Senatobia Police Department received a call from the victim around 1 p.m. local time that day.
Senatobia officers found a gun, drugs and cash in one of the seized vehicles, which was driving southbound on that highway before it was pulled over at Exit 6. The SPD then requested additional law enforcement agencies to the scene including the Tate County Sheriff’s Office, Batesville Police Department, Panola County Sheriff’s Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, and others.

RIPLEY COUNTY – The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office released the following information regarding a crash that occurred around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at State Road 129 and County Road 1200 N. in Ripley County.
Vehicle #2, a white Chevy Blazer, driven by Sharon Smith of Batesville, was traveling south bound on SR 129. She was slowing or stopped attempting to turn onto County Road 1200 N.
Vehicle #1, a black Jeep, driven by Juan Carlos Visoso of Versailles, was traveling south bound on State Road 129 following vehicle #2. Driver #1 (Juan Carlos) failed to stop and struck vehicle #2 in the rear causing vehicle # 2 to go into the pathway of vehicle #3, a black Subaru Outback, driven by Tyson Skinner of Madison.

BATESVILLE – Brian K Sims, 42, Batesville, was charged with two counts of child molesting (Level 1 and Level 4 Felonies) and incest (Level 4 Felony), according to a probable cause affidavit provided by the Ripley County Prosecutor’s Office.
The affidavit, which was signed by Batesville Police Department Detective Sergeant Michael Manus, states Sims allegedly committed the crimes between January 1, 2020 and November 9, 2020 against a minor under the age of 14.
The victim indicated Sims inappropriately touched them approximately once a month, with the last time being prior to Thanksgiving 2020, at which time a text message was sent to Sims telling him to stop.
A forensic interview was conducted with the victim at the Child’s Advocacy Center in Greensburg.
