Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) has launched a new nationwide fuel contest that is ongoing from now until May 31, 2021, with attractive prizes up for grabs.
To participate, customers will need to fuel up a minimum of RM40 worth of Petronas Primax 97 with Pro-Race in a single receipt, on three separate transactions within the same month at any given period throughout the campaign. After three successful transactions, a badge will be unlocked and customers will stand a chance to win the offered prizes. The more badges you collect, the higher the chances of winning.
According to PDB, the badges will be available on the Setel app, and those who transact using the app will also receive an additional bonus entry to increase their odds. Customers who prefer other payment methods will also have the opportunity to participate by registering at the Setel website.
In the spirit of togetherness, Malaysians are urged to support homegrown products and services.

Petronas Dagangan has officially introduced its new Petronas Primax 97 with Pro-Race, its best ever fuel. The new Euro 4M RON 97 petrol is now available nationwide, priced at the current rate of RM2.08 per litre for December 19 to 25 under the weekly fuel pricing format.
The new RON 97 fuel replaces Primax 97 with improved Advanced Energy Formula, which has been on the market since August 2015. The company says the updated fuel has been engineered to meet the demands of present-day high technology engines by offering users with a more powerful, responsive and efficient performance.
At the heart of the formulation is a new additive package that includes the world’s first Advanced Dual Friction Modifier, which the company says is 25% more efficient in reducing friction, and it also enhances the fuel and oil interaction to improve fuel efficiency for better mileage, resulting in lower carbon emissions. Petronas is set to introduce something new later this evening, and all indicators so far in what has been a performance-heavy teaser campaign clearly points to a new premium fuel for the national oil and gas company.
The fuel to be launched is likely to be a new RON 97 petrol. The guess is relatively easy, given that the current Petronas Primax 97 formulation was launched over five years ago. When it made its debut back then, the fuel was the first Euro 4M-grade RON 97 petrol to be offered to the Malaysian market, ahead of the government-gazetted implementation date of September 1, 2015.
