A fast-moving blaze at a strip shopping mall that destroyed several businesses in the heart of Seattle s Lake City neighborhood shopping area Monday night was intentionally set, officials said Tuesday.
At least seven businesses were destroyed in the blaze, with the loss expected to be about $2 million, leaving their owners with very little if that to salvage.
Investigators have opened a criminal probe into the blaze.
