PETERSBURG - Petersburg Police arrested 12 people for charges like the illegal possession of firearms and narcotics distribution.
These arrests on Thursday Dec. 17 came two days after a police sweep that resulted in nine arrests for similar charges. These efforts will be continuous as we continue our mission to reduce the fear of crime in our community, said Petersburg Chief of Police Travis Christian.
Police seized three firearms and narcotics along with the arrests.
The arrests Thursday were:
Zaclinn Johnson, for illegal possession of a concealed weapon
Corbin Dickerson, for distribution of marijuana and possession of a schedule I and schedule II narcotics
