For the Bray family in Brunswick, American Civil War reenactment is more than just a historical hobby it’s a family affair. Over the past weekend, the Brays hosted the first encampment training of 2021 at their home for the 3rd Maine reenactment unit, the largest in Maine.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The unusually cold weather in the Heartland can create challenges for farmers.
“If you were to ask the people who sell cigarettes, whiskey, or antiacids in farm acids, that they sell a lot of those things in April and May. There is a lot of stress,” said Barry Bean, a farmer from Peach Orchard, Missouri who raises mainly cotton, soybeans, rice and corn.
While this spring freeze adds to that stress, Bean said luckily he’s in the clear.
