Special permits for fishing in Åchang Bay Preserve and Piti Bomb Holes

scad mackerel, or atulai.
Tumon is open daily for hook-and-line and talåya from the shore. See regulations for an allowed catch or call 735-0286/81. No other fish, seaweed, shellfish or marine life other than talåya may be taken.
The harvest of fish is dependent on the following:
Social distance: The purpose of focusing on the use of talåya and hook-and-line is to protect our community by limiting fishing to a single-person activity. Please keep a distance of six feet or more between yourself and anyone else.

Only the use of talåya nets or hook-and-line for the harvest of, ti’ao, and i’e is allowed from shore from April 1-30.
I’e and tiao harvested shall not be longer than four inches long.
While fishing for ti’ao and i’e under this permit, entry into the water is only allowed to retrieve the talåya after casting the net.
