“One of the best ways we connect with people is through joy and comedy,” says Cole Huling. “We said to ourselves, ‘What if, instead of stories dealing with inner demons, which can be dark, sad stories, we gave people a moment of joy?’” With that in mind, they planned a run of shows for spring of 2020.
With everything shutting down just before their kickoff, the team had to quickly rework its idea. With the help of the advisory board a collection of mentors with various entertainment, tech and art industry backgrounds who provide guidance the Hulings looked at ways to take their show to the streets.

Wednesday, February 17, noon to 1 p.m. As part of Black History Month, the Denver Public Library is hosting a virtual cooking demonstration with Konjo Ethiopian Food, a fast-casual restaurant at Edgewater Public Market. every day has been National Drink Wine Day. So we re not going to complain too much about the fact that the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board is hosting a livestream in honor of the day 24 hours early especially not since the event also honors Black History Month. Black sommeliers Kendra Anderson (formerly the owner of Bar Helix) and William Davis will join Denver author, certified barbecue judge and current CWIDB member Adrian Miller for a tasting of the Centennial State s wines, as well as discussion about racial diversity and equity in the wine industry.
