ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) â The Orchard Park Central School District announced on Thursday that it has unanimously appointed David Lilleck as the district s new superintendent.
âI am incredibly honored, humbled, and excited to become the next Superintendent of Orchard Park Central School District. Orchard Park is the community I have chosen to live and raise my family in. My daughter graduated from OPHS in 2019, and my sons are freshmen at OPHS. Local businesses permitted to open from tomorrow are being inundated with bookings as the Derry public looks forward to enjoying outdoor hospitality once again.
Unlicensed and licensed premises such as restaurants, beer gardens, and cafes can open outdoors as part of an easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
Indoor hospitality venues, including pubs and hotels, have to wait until May 24.
A number of pubs and restaurants around the city with outdoor space are ‘fully booked’ demonstrating an eagerness on the part of locals for a return to normality.

ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) â Supreme Court Judge Emilio Colaiacovo has ordered the New York State Department of Health to revisit its school social distancing guidelines by Friday.
Parents are suing both the Orchard Park and Williamsville School Districts to return to school in person full time in Judge Colaiavcovo s court.
Both school districts said they can not accommodate all students with six feet of social distance, but can with three.
