It still remains unclear if
the deceased was a student at Wits or just a bystander caught in the crossfire between police and protesting students.
According to Netcare 911 the deceased had just come out of a doctor’s practice when police fired rubber bullets to disperse the protesting students.

Duduzane Zuma appears to have given another signal that he is eyeing the presidency in 2024.

eNCA under fire for not asking FF Plusâ Groenewald to wear his mask Citizen reporter

News channel eNCA has come under fire from social media users for interviewing Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) leader Pieter Groenewald without him wearing his face mask in public.
The outrage from some Twitter users has even sparked questions around white privilege and unconscious bias by the broadcaster.
