IT S the shop which has brought high end clothing brands, some pre-owned by Cherries players and their families, to Bournemouth in 2020. Browns of Bournemouth, at 100 Old Christchurch Road, stocks new and vintage designer brands at a fraction of retail price. Footballers and their wives are among those who have added items from their wardrobes to a unique and eclectic curation of new and pre-loved fashion brands. Owner Richard Brown has always loved fashion and has fulfilled a long-held dream in opening the shop following the first lockdown. He told the Echo: I have loved clothes all my life ,buying vintage from Richmond Classics. In recent years, I began buying from my close friend Barry Gallagher who owns a boutique clothes shop. Through friendship with him and meditation sessions during lockdown, I had the inspiration to open my own shop and fulfill a childhood dream.
