More than 100 charges have been laid on 26 individuals following a five-month operation by the Winnipeg Police Service to bring down a drug ring in Point Douglas.
Operation Matriarch also resulted in the seizure of 10 properties, cocaine, crack cocaine, Canadian currency, a loaded firearm, ammunition, bank accounts, a skid steer, a 2016 BMW X5 and jewelry for a total estimated value of $2,343,497.
