Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) has started cooperation with Duke University, one of the most famous and prestigious universities in the world.
The new training program of the School of Project Management (SPM) of Baku Higher Oil School will be implemented jointly with Duke University (USA, North Carolina).
The training will begin on May 21-23, 2021.
The SPM program covers 7 modules. Duke University will issue an international certificate for 7 modules to students who successfully complete the training.
In addition, upon successful completion of the first 3 modules, students will receive Foundational Certificate in Project Management.
Upon completion of the training program, students will be able to obtain Professional Certificate in Project Management from Duke University.

The winners of the conference “Process Automation and Information Security – 2021”, which was the last of the 2nd International Student Research and Science Conferences, organized by Baku Higher Oil School on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, have been announced.
The program of the conference included the following sections: Measurement and Control Systems; System Analysis and Modelling; Intelligent Systems and Control; Internet of Things (IoT) and Robotics; Image and Signals Processing; Application of Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Industry; Networks and Cloud Computing; Information Security in Industrial Networks; Cybersecurity Issues.

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has issued an order to award BHOS students who became winners of the regional round of the “Petrobowl” international competition organized by the International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the “Enactus Azerbaijan Spring School” project organized by Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union and the “Education” Public Support Association of Youth of Azerbaijan with the financial support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has met with Vice President for Caspian West Region of the company Halliburton Colton Thomas and General Manager for Business Relations of Halliburton Jose Inchiarte.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for future cooperation between BHOS and Halliburton.
Rector Elmar Gasimov highlighted the main directions of Baku Higher Oil School’s activities. He noted that the most intelligent young people in the country are studying at Baku Higher Oil School and that the university occupies one of the leading places in the country in terms of the number of Presidential scholars. The rector stressed that the overwhelming majority of BHOS graduates work in senior positions in leading local and transnational companies. Islamabad : Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee has said the two countries have friendly relations based on mutual respect and trust, and they are striving to strengthen them through various initiatives.
He was speaking during the ceremony of the marriage of two students of Baku Higher Oil School in Baku ASAN Service Centre. Elvin Ismailov, a graduate of the BHOS Petroleum Engineering Department, married a third-year student of the same department Masume Rizji, who is originally from Pakistan.
Ambassador Hayee and rector of the school Elmar Gasimov acted as witnesses to the event. They congratulated the couple and wished them a happy family life based on warm and strong relations similar to those of the two countries. The newlyweds were presented with gifts.
