Medical equipment installed at the newly rebuilt Aleppo Eye Surgery Hospital
SYRIAâS Minister of Health, Dr Hassan al-Ghobash, inaugurated the rebuilt General Authority of Aleppo Eye Surgery Hospital on Monday.
The hospital, which was destroyed by terrorists but rebuilt and equipped with all the necessary medical equipment, consists of two floors, with an area of 1,800 square metres, and a capacity of 25 beds. It includes all specialised clinics and two operating rooms.
In a statement to reporters, the Minister of Health said that the restoration and rehabilitation of the Eye Hospital and providing it with modern medical equipment is a great achievement and will provide medical services to citizens in Aleppo.

Syria s Supreme Constitutional Court has accepted three candidates for the presidential elections, including Abdullah Salloum Abdullah, Bashar Hafez al-Assad and Mahmoud Ahmad Marai.
The Chief of the Supreme Constitutional Court, Mohammad Jihad al-Laham, announced earlier that the court received six applications of complaint by the candidates whose applications to run for election were rejected.
He noted that the Court General Panel studied the complaints but rejected them.
He added that the court set the election campaign for the candidates from May 16 to 24.

Damascus, May 10 (Prensa Latina) Syria s Supreme Constitutional Court announced on Monday the names of the three candidates to the May 26 presidential elections.
The initial list reported on May 3 remains unchanged and includes the names of Abdullah Salloum Abdullah, Bashar Hafez al-Assad and Mahmoud Ahmed Mari, the head of the Court, Mohammad Jihad al-Laham, said at a press briefing.
Jihad al-Laham stated that the complaint requests submitted by six applicants were rejected because they do not include official documents that prove their arguments.
