A CONSTRUCTION worker has been taken to hospital this afternoon after emergency services rescued him from the top of a building. Emergency services were called at 11.27 am to a scene at Old School House on Lea Gate, Bradshaw - where a workman was found injured and unable to move from the second floor of the building, which is currently under construction. A team of three fire engines from Ramsbottom fire station were in attendance alongside a tactical response unit from North West Ambulance Service. Watch officer Kris Bailey, of Ramsbottom fire service told The Bolton News: There was a workman who had suffered an injury while working on the second floor of the building.
