On the latest episode of Prognosis Ohio, Dan turns over the interview mic to the show s Spring 2021 college intern, Ohio University student Claire McGee, who talks with Betsy Anderson, Executive Director of Serenity Grove, a not-for-profit level II transitional recovery home in Athens, Ohio. Under the direction of Women for Recovery, Serenity Grove provides a safe, transitional environment in which women struggling with addiction can develop skills for independent, sober living. In their conversation, Claire and Betsy address the stigma surrounding substance use disorders, gender inclusivity, and how addiction and recovery have changed during the pandemic.

HUDSON Some of the biggest Broadway hits will take the Hudson stage, as high school students perform âA Night on Broadway.â
The show, with performances April 22-23, features a collection of 20 different songs from about 15 different shows, including âPhantom of the Opera,â âFiddler on the Roof,â âMean Girlsâ and more.Â
The students are excited to be back on the stage, co-director Kari Heisler said.Â
âThey were just over the moon about the opportunities to do anything this year, so weâre just having a blast together,â Heisler said.Â
She and fellow director Andy Haase are excited to feature students again, and have people back in the auditorium.Â
