On Tuesday, the official unveiling of the mural will take place at Ace Uniforms in Phoenix.
The idea to paint the mural came about in the summer, when one of artist Hugo Medina s projects was canceled. I was supposed to do a big community mural project that got canceled but they decided to pay me anyway, so that got us through the summer basically. And as we were sitting there, we were thinking of how fortunate we were and we saw all of what the front-line workers were going through. I always want to give back, so we decided we might do a mural to thank them, said Medina.
