Bass fishing at Saratoga Lake bass are biting.
The Saratoga Tackle Tuesday afternoon bass tournament again attracted 39 boats, and the fishing was good. This week’s winning team of Drew Zeihnert of Saratoga Springs and Jon Wentworth of Mechanicville pulled in boated 12.53 pounds of bass worth $880. They also had lunker, a 3.76-pound largemouth worth $390.
Second place went to the team of Ed Powers and Corey Johnson of South Glens Falls with 11.64 pounds, earning $525. John Paul and Bob Pelletier, both from Nassau, came in third with 11 pounds and collecting $350.
