Stock image of police POLICE will be investigated over the handling of an incident involving the death of a 49-year-old woman in Slough. A murder probe was launched into the woman’s death on Tuesday evening (June 8), culminating in the arrests of two men in connection with the incident. But the death was initially treated as ‘unexplained’ after her body was discovered at a property on Long Readings Lane on Sunday evening (June 6). Thames Valley Police has now referred itself to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) in relation to this incident. The force says this is “as a result of prior police contact”.
