NEWPORT The teenager suspected of killing a Little Compton man this weekend has turned himself in to police.
Newport police announced Thursday morning that Tyrese Poulsen, 18, turned himself in that morning. No further details were released.
An arraignment has been scheduled for 2 p.m. at Newport District Court.
Police said Wednesday afternoon that warrants had been obtained for Poulsen, 18, of Newport on a murder charge. Additionally, police said Jamaal Reid, 19, is wanted for harboring a criminal and disorderly conduct.
