FRANKLIN – The Franklin Public School District is now enrolling kindergarten students for the 2021-2022 school year.
Parents/Guardians will need to provide proof of residency, immunization/health records, and forms of identification.
Information is available on the district website that specifies what type of documentation is required. Once all information has been gathered, students can be enrolled online.

Norfolk Lions taking applications for scholarships
NORFOLK The Norfolk Lions Club will be awarding four $1,500 college scholarships to high school seniors who are residents of Norfolk. The students may attend public or private schools or be home schooled.
The scholarships will be awarded to candidates who have been actively involved in community service activities, as well as academic performance and other extracurricular activities.
Scholarship applications will be available by March 1 and can be obtained by downloading the form from www.norfolkmalions.org. They also can be obtained from the guidance office at King Philip Regional High School.

A Norfolk Lions Club has announced it will be closing at the end of the month after 42 years as a result of reduced membership and fundraising.
Downham Market Lions Club made the decision to close the group after a reduced and ageing membership of six struggled to continue to raise funds to fulfil their objective of helping those less fortunate than themselves .

HOLIDAY ART DISPLAY: The “From Russia with Art Holiday” exhibit will be on display at The Picture Place, 320A Harvard St., Brookline, through Dec. 30.
The exhibition is open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays.
The exhibition is curated by Olesya and Jerry Koenig and Tom Coppi. Masks and social distancing are required. Etchings, oil paintings and mixed media will be on display.
Featured artists are Anatoly Dverin, Alexander Korman, Misha Lenn, Stanislav Nikireev, Alexander Vetrov, Irena Makoveeva, George Lapchinsky and Vladimir Vorobyov.
