  Aug 04, 2021 01:28:16 PM Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry believes there are other important priorities that need to be addressed rather than the upgrading works of the Nadi International Airport. This comes after the government move to acquire the $106 million loan from the Australian government for upgrading works of the Nadi International Airport. Chaudhry said the government’s decision to borrow more for projects which were not essential at this stage considering the country was already up to its neck in debt.  “While we appreciate the gesture from the Australian, we believe there are other important priorities which need to be addressed,” he said.
