Something may be going on at Foote Lagoon in Loveland, as officials investigate why, over the last few days, four geese have turned up dead.

In a recent Facebook post, the City of Loveland says that there s no need for the public to be concerned that any humans may be in danger, but they are trying to find out what happened to these geese, and if any other animals could be in danger.

The City of Loveland has modified its application of the City’s Charter related to election campaign contribution spending limits. Resulting from a challenge to the previous interpretation, the City will not enforce the $130 contribution limit per person for Loveland issue committees.
“To preserve the integrity of local elections, the City of Loveland’s Charter places limits on large donations and special interest groups,” said Loveland City Attorney Moses Garcia. “Although it is in the best interest of the community to keep wealthy contributors and special interests from disproportionately influencing local elections, the City has settled litigation regarding its interpretation of the City Charter limitations on issue committee campaign contributions. ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. The Adams County Sheriff s Office (ACSO) is investigating Monday night s drive-by shooting as a homicide.
Deputies are looking for a suspect accused of shooting a man in the 7600 block of Pecos Street around 8:30 p.m. That is near the Pecos Street exit off US 36 just east of Westminster in Adams County.
The man was shot in the chest and taken
to the hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries, according to the sheriff s office.
ACSO said they don t have a good description of the suspect or the vehicle they were in, only that they were described as driving a white or silver full-sized truck.
