Woman overcomes addiction through drug court KPHO KTVK By Carissa Planalp     PEORIA, Arizona (KPHO) A Peoria woman is sharing her story from rock bottom to redemption after overcoming addiction. Leslie Eckstein credits Maricopa Count Adult Drug Court programs that recently received national recognition. “Today, I’m feeling pretty good about myself because I’ve come a long way,” says Eckstein. Her journey began several years ago when she used meth with an ex-boyfriend. From there, Eckstein spiraled out of control. She had a few run-ins with the law and was no longer capable of taking care of her little boy. “I got hooked on it right away,” recalls Eckstein. “It gets a hold of you and you get further and further, and before you know it, I ended up homeless because of it.”

Council Members Will Jawando and Sidney Katz were opposed. The zoning text amendment approved Tuesday will allow 5G small cell antennas and equipment in residential areas countywide, with limits on where they may be.
