The Sadlers Mead car park, which officially opened in Chippenham in January this year, has been marred by criticism and push back since before the ribbon was even cut. Sue McGill, who has been documenting the structure since June 2020 said the police had been called to the multi-storey for various incidents.

Wiltshire Police urged younger drivers to take extra care

Roads officers appeal to younger drivers to take extra care YOUNGER drivers are being urged to take extra, after a concerning increase in the number of motorists getting hurt. It comes after what Wiltshire Police describe as a much higher number of young drivers being killed or seriously injured in recent months. With the easing of Covid restrictions, the Force s Roads Policing Unit is appealing to younger road users and new drivers to take extra care when out driving. The Force added that is has also seen a noticeable increase in drivers younger than 30 being caught speeding, as well as driving under the influence of drink and drugs.
