Green Battery Minerals Inc (CVE:GEM) (OTCMKTS:GBMIF) (FRA:BK2P) has outlined a two-year path to advance its wholly-owned Berkwood Graphite resource in Quebec, from which it aims to provide materials for the growing electric vehicle (EV) industry.
Among the stepping stones is the development, currently underway, of anode material to make a test battery.
Already completed in this process has been the extraction and crushing of rock, while floating (for separation) is underway. Still pending is purifying the graphite to 99.95% using a clean alkaline process and sphericalzing, which would add $1,000 per ton to any potential sales price, according to the company.
