William Joseph Forrester, age 82 of Clarksville passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Bill entered this life on October 25, 1938, in Waverly, TN to the late Ardell and Mattie Forrester. He was a graduate of Waverly Central High School. Bill enjoyed playing golf and was a Veteran of The United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville, and retired from the State of Tennessee. Bill graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree at Austin Peay State University, where he served as both President and Vice President for The Circle K Club. LEESBURG, Ga. (WALB) - One person was killed in a Lee County crash Friday afternoon, according to David Forrester, the Lee County fire chief.
John Cole Singleton, 28, of Sumter County was the one killed, according to Lee County Coroner Hill Mackey and Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
The single-vehicle crash happened on U.S. 19 at Creekside Drive.

JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs Group Inc and BNP Paribas SA are all forecasting that Japanâs currency will hit the century mark for the first time in four years in 2021. Rarer still, domestic giants Mizuho Bank Ltd. and MUFG Bank Ltd. are joining them, with estimates that the yen could even push to 98, a level unseen since 2013.
