The Guild looks to grow in Pawtucket, elsewhere
Outdoor spaces at The Guild in Pawtucket are a key component to the company’s plans for growth over the coming months.
PAWTUCKET – Since opening in 2017, owners at The Guild in Pawtucket say they have been a bit disappointed that they’ve never quite gotten traction in hiring local people for available jobs, which “sort of goes against our mission,” says co-owner Jeremy Duffy.
Duffy told The Breeze they’re making an earnest bid to change that status quo in getting more local residents to apply for open jobs, working with the city to try to recruit residents from Pawtucket and Central Falls to fill available packaging and manufacturing positions.
