Head Brewer
We are now looking for a brewer for a small start up family owned brewpub with a projected brewing start date of June 2021. Prior experience is preferred. Brewery is located in Delta Junction, Alaska. Looking for an interested person who is not afraid of cold weather and frontier living. An open mind and outgoing personality are a must! The ideal person would be interested in growing with the company and contributing to its rapid expansion. Fun at work is requirement! Go north!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Mastering operation of the brewhouse; Accurately documenting work completed; Communicating effectively with colleagues; Safely operating company equipment; A positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges; Cleaning the facility and equipment; Safely handling chemicals; Occasional offsite event participation; Other duties as assigned. The hospital is reporting record high admissions of coronavirus disease – even more than the surge last November. About 18% of the admissions at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital have COVID-19.
Dr. Barbara Creighton, who has been attending many of them, says the surge is preventable.
“There is the disconnect. You know, we have businesses opening, school buses flying, restaurants going, and we have visitors happening, and yet we have our highest case rates. And so, we are like does anybody see this? This place is on fire with COVID.”

Army officials say a military training facility near Fort Greely won’t flood this year with overflow from Jarvis Creek. That’s happened in years past, but
