Following a lay-off of over two weeks due to the recent outbreak of Covid-19 at the Academy of Light, Sunderland are finally back on the grass this weekend as we begin 2021 with a trip to Northampton Town.
The Sky Bet League One clash will be our first since our draw with AFC Wimbledon on December 15, with several players returning to training this week following a period of self-isolation.
