Rainbow Centre launches new day opportunities service in Marchwiel

A community organisation has launched a new day opportunities service in Marchwiel.
The Rainbow Centre, which already operates a similar scheme in Penley, will be offering support to clients on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week in Marchwiel Hall.
Whether people are looking for a social hub to make new friends or looking for some structure and assistance, a day opportunities service can provide meaningful social contact in a safe and secure environment.
Operation manager, Geraldine Vaughan said: “We are thrilled to be able to offer the same great service in a second location based in Marchwiel.
The Rainbow Centre celebrated winning the prestigious Social Care Wales Accolade. THE Rainbow Centre has opened a new service in Marchwiel. The new service will provide support for clients and their families, with the new service being based out of Marchwiel Village Hall. It will offer a range of services to clients every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Rainbow Centre has been tackling loneliness and isolation whilst promoting good health and wellbeing for 25 years. Lonely woman. Their mission is to help older people to regain their sense of worth, and to provide access to support, services and facilities that can empower people of all ages to retain as much independence as possible.
