Shaun Bilton A couple attacked three police officers after they were called to a ruckus at a house in Caerphilly. Andrea Stuart drew blood after The officer had to be taken to the A&E department at Newport’s Royal Gwent Hospital where he needed five stitches for a two-inch cut. Stuart was jailed for 10 months and Bilton for 32 weeks.
Cecil Scott Killer M4 driver Cecil Scott, 63, was found guilty by a jury of causing the death of Jeffrey Paul Williams from Cwmbran. The Scott was jailed for four and a half years and banned from driving for more than six years.

His daughter said: “On June 21, 2018, my life changed forever. That was the day my dad died. I was 23 and my brother was 21.” She discovered the terrible news when she arrived at her father’s home from work to pay him one of her regular visits. Miss Williams told the court: I saw two police officers at my dad s front door. I remember asking one why they were there. She told me and I just collapsed. You hear how people say their legs just went from under them and, until that moment, I never understood what that meant. I will never forget that moment or feeling. The rest of that day is a blur.

A grieving daughter told a court her father was too young to die and confessed she experiences flashbacks of being told how her father was suddenly killed in a crash on the M4. Cecil Scott, a courier driver, killed another motorist after his car hit him from behind at 70mph on the M4 near Newport.
