Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday claimed to have achieved major success by foiling a terror plot executed by the Pakistan’s Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror outfit and shot down one hexacopter (drone) with one IED weighing approx 5-kgs near Akhnoor in the city outskirts and added that the string recovered from the drone was similar to those used in attacks at Air Force Station Jammu.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh said police shot down a hexacopter carrying a payload of 5 kg IED material in Akhnoor area of Jammu region - the threads of which were same as that of the ones used for dropping payloads at Air Force Station Jammu.
