Meanwhile, a friend helped build a whelping box out of cardboard to get ready. They arrived home in Frisco at 4 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, and at 6 p.m., the puppies were born.
“If she had the babies on the transport, maybe a couple would have made it, but definitely not all of them,” Michele said. “She would have been in a little cage with nowhere to clean up. It would have been awful. We literally got her just in time.”

Many grocery stores in Colorado are packed with people as the state gears up for what could be its biggest snow storm of the season. Mouthfuls Pet Supply is essentially a grocery store for pets in Denver’s Berkeley neighborhood, and it’s no different.
The shop usually gets busier when a big storm is approaching, owner Kaiti Asmussen said.

One Street Over’s printed masks (Submitted)
For One Street Over Crafting Studio owner Sarah Sutherland, having her business at home brings more balance to her life and gives her the best of both worlds of work and staying at home.
Sutherland left her former position of Regional Manager of Marketing at BMO in September 2019 to start the studio, which she runs full-time.
“I needed to make a change,” says Sutherland. “I had a regular job, was travelling a lot and was away from my babies too much.”
Her printing studio, consisting of her printer, special printing inks, accessories, and stock is where she sublimates her customized prints on everything from puzzles to lanyards to masks.
