Situated next to the Chao Phraya River, visitors who travel by boat to The Jam Factory can experience either a powerful or peaceful river. In her latest exhibition titled Unnamed Tremble , artist Narissara Pianwimungsa explores her feelings about the power of nature along with her chaotic state of mind as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Raimon Land rejigs investment plan
published : 22 Dec 2020 at 04:00 Raimon Land yesterday signed an agreement with Thailand Privilege Card to become the first developer to provide the Elite Flexible One privilege card.
Following a change in its major shareholders three months ago, SET-listed developer Raimon Land Plc (RML) has revised its plans, revoking an in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) venture and selling a land plot on Sukhumvit Soi 19 that had been earmarked for a new hotel development.
Sataporn Amornvorapak, Raimon Land s chief finance officer, said the company had decided to cancel an investment plan in an IVF business, which would have involved the opening of fertility wellness centres in two locations.
Come embrace contemporary art at Iconsiam

A curated selection of outstanding artworks is being presented in a pop-up exhibition on the first floor of Iconluxe Iconsiam, Charoen Nakhon Road, from today until Jan 31. The opening reception is today at 7pm.
Titled The Space Between Us , the exhibition is organised by Tang Contemporary Art which brings almost 30 artworks covering video, sculptures, print, and paintings by 15 local and international artists.
They include Chen Tianzhuo, Chen Zihao, Chong Ai Le, Dinh Q Le, Entang Wiharso, Gongkan, Guan Saimei, Jiang Zhi, Kitti Narod, Ling Jian, Pannaphan Yodmanee, Roldan Manok Ventura, Su Bin, Tawan Wattuya and Yuree Kensaku.
Cinema Kabuki screened for non-Nipponese

Japan Foundation presents a screening of two Cinema Kabuki works Renjishi (The Father And Son Shishi Lion Dance) and Rakuda (The Camel) at Icon Cineconic, 6th floor of Iconsiam, Charoen Nakhon Road, on Wednesday at 7pm.

Kabuki is a major classical theatre of Japan that was named as a Unesco Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008. Dating back to the 1600s, it has remained steeped in tradition while constantly innovating, with gorgeous costumes, stunning make-up and powerful dramas.
Since 2005, Kabuki production company Shochiku has released Cinema Kabuki which offers English speakers the unique opportunity to experience full-scale Kabuki performances by some of Japan s biggest stars in high definition on the big screen, with English subtitles.
Govt mulls pollution crackdown

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered government agencies to take decisive action to fight the air pollution that has plagued Bangkok and its surrounding provinces in recent days.
The PM said the government had continuously implemented measures against the surging PM2.5 levels but the problem had deteriorated due to the current weather.
He urged commuters to use public transport as much as possible and said the government would consider introducing alternate-day private travel only in the capital.
